The European Union's General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR creates a more strict approach to businesses that collect and keep data on people who live in the European Union, which Buffalo Wings & Rings - an elevated sports restaurant brand with restaurants in Cyprus and Greece, sees as a good thing and is making moves to address the potential of similar regulation coming to the U.S. According to a recent article in QSR Magazine, the company took steps to ensure compliance in the E.U. but is also creating a task force to proactively prepare for any American regulation similar to GDPR. "Customers want greater control of their personal data and how it is used," John Eberly, Buffalo Wings & Rings International CEO, told QSR Magazine.
