Franchise recipe: First DFW-area Buffalo Wings & Rings thrives
The Buffalo Wings & Rings, just down the street from AT&T Stadium, has been doing great, even without the business of football season. The franchisee Bill Melton has been implementing new school strategies to market his restaurant.
In an interview with the Fort Worth Business Press, Melton addresses social media, one of many factors adding to his increase in business. He says, "I took the people that engaged with me page and [Facebook] had a snapshot of what those people like, so they took that information and did a look-alike for a 15-mile radius around my restaurant in similar type people" to target his ads to, Melton said. "And it really my likes from, oh gosh, I went from 1,000 likes on my Facebook page at the end of December 2016 to 4,000 by June 2017. So we had quadrupled it in six months."
